7 Tide Questions

1. What inspired you to become a designer?

I have been designing and drafting since I was very young. I would sit at the kitchen table and draw for hours. To take a break I would rearrange the furniture and accessories – it drove my parents crazy!

2. In three words, describe your personal style.

Classic, crisp with a twist

3. What’s your favorite room or space?

Without hesitation – the kitchen!

4. What is your favorite way to jumpstart a project/find inspiration?  

I put myself in the space and imagine what I would like to see, and then there is always Houzz and my abundance of design magazines.

5. Currently coveting …

Way too many throw pillows.

6. What’s the most over used word in design right now?

Transitional!

7. If you could have coffee with any designer who’s ever lived who would it be?

Mark Hampton; I have always admired his classic style.
