The first of its kind, the all-day Learn & Lounge on June 14 was a huge success for all of the brands here at 7 Tide. Industry professionals had the opportunity to earn up to four CEUs. The day of learning wrapped up with socializing over blues by Willie J. Laws Band and Texas barbecue by Bridget and Julia of America’s Test Kitchen.
Last week, courses included “Clearing the Air: Fresh Ideas in Kitchen Ventilation” presented by Ken Gillis of Best Ventilation and sponsored by Clarke Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove; “LEDs and the Importance of Color Accuracy” presented by Charles Selander of Soraa and sponsored by Reflex Lighting; “Universal Design in a New Normal” presented by Alison Stanley of Kohler and sponsored by Kohler Signature Store by Supply New England; and “Performance Glazing and Building Envelope Optimization” presented by Stuart Lipp of Marvin Windows and Doors and sponsored by Marvin at 7 Tide.
7 Tide hosts Learn & Lounge series throughout the year. At each event, Continuing Education Units courses are followed by hors d’oeuvres, refreshments and conversations. The weeknight events are a great way to collect CEUs, but also offer a chance to catch up with other industry professionals in our one-of-a-kind space in Boston’s Innovation District.
